The re-opening of the zinc mine will now depend on the new Australian owners. They care more about profit probably than employment in NS.  There's always a risk and in this business you gotta take risks to make it.
I say go ahead and reopen. Load the dice as best you can then give them a toss. The mine could be bringing in cash within a few months I suppose.  Converting it into a mill for gold made sense when the world was going to hell but it is too far away from the gold mines to make sense. The zinc and lead is right on the mill property.

I emailed them a while ago about the reopening issue, here's what mr Coughlan told me.The price for zinc needs to be at .95range for a month or so for us to decide to reopen. We would need to raise somecapital to do this. Probably debt. We are working on the reopening plan as wespeak. The main focus for Acadian will be to develop the gold projects as fastas we can. No worries Quimby, I've send Mr Coughlan the link to our discussion and asked him if my assumptions were correct. I suppose he will get back to me somewhere next week depending on if he's in the office. I am also planning to feature other juniors on my blog.
