China Process

AXI management blames the slow China process for lack of progress, as if XinXing loves the deal but is being held back by the slow-moving Chinese government authorities.

But the ADV-Hebei JV deal gets approval from the Chinese National Reform and Development Commission less than 3 months after the deal was signed. The initial $88 million investment comes next week.

Where does your knowledge come from? Have you ever been involved in a Chinese approval process? Do you have any contacts within the National Development & Reform Comission or is it all pure speculation?

G&G or HV or whatever name you use on a particular day, if you had any business experience in the emerging world, you would understand that not much gets done without someone's palm being greased. This a fact of doing business and I know this from having done work in the emerging countries.
