Maybe we could benefit from a deal like this

Not saying a 75% working interest, but some percentage has to be given up get this ball rolling

Big Jake, wouldnt it be more beneficial for GSP and its shareholders to prove without doubt they have a functioning economic cavern model in real time, and let the big money come to them with the highest bid instead of giving up operational control? Look no further than Western and Karnalyte, as both those corps are majority owned and controlled by foreign interests, and along with it any ...more

Sure would but how are we financing that?
Comment by mdjbrown on Jan 16, 2024 12:09pm
BigJake if I am not mistaken, the PADCOM mine was built for a couple million dollars using a shoestring budget including portable equipment. From there they got the governments ear and more money was invested provincially in support of the project. In my opinion, there will only be one way to perfect this novel tech and depending on the complexity of Gensource's cavern model, I doubt it would ...more

The drilling alone would cost more than 2 million today

BigJake, like I said earlier, a couple million dollars to try to build a proof of concept cavern. Its not going to be free but if PADCOM can build one on a budget, those in the Gsp office should have enough contacts that can work out a deal - lol

BigJake, here is an idea for you and the rest of Gensource faithful It was not that long ago (2022) that Gsp was proud to announce the acquisition of a company by the name of Innovare who held a newly approved patent, and claimed to have figured this horizontal selective mining mystery out. Gsp was willing to give this company $11.5 million in shares in the acqusition.  "With Innovare ...more

MDJ.....please provide more details on "There is also a company located just down the road from Tugaske that recently built an operational horizontal selective solution mining potash cavern"
Comment by mdjbrown on Jan 17, 2024 2:08pm
frostback, BPPC recently built the cavern at the PADCOM mine site, and they are located approx 100km from the Tugaske site. Only two corps from my understanding have attempted to develop this novel horizontal selective solution mining caverns tech for potash extraction in Sask in decades, and the other is Western, who are now redesigning their cavern design by the sounds of it.

Do you know what innovares technology actually refers too?  I can only assume that it would be some type of cavity monitoring and control system. Highly unlikely that they are drilling injection wells. Clearly there is much more involved here to develop a cavity than in a conventional solution mine. My personal minefield experience is limited at best, so I will to wait and see what GSP comes ...more

I think that when all is said a done, the company will have their deluxe cavern in place. I believe from beginning to end this drilling session is going to cost more than 2 million.  I don't believe there is any doubt that anyone else but Inovare's staff will be on site with their expertise, which can be found below.  Gensource is wise to be aligned with the experienced ...more

black,  there is no doubt the folks at Innovare / Gensource are very well connected and have been in the industry for a long time, so there should be no problem getting a drill bit in the ground. Lets not kid ourselves though these companies are akin to 2 peas in a pod, as all the principles of Innovare are basically Gensource folks, including Mr. Ferguson's connection as one of the ...more

BigJake, the folks at Innovare would certainly have the expertise and equipment to drill the cavern, as I believe Artisan was a drilling contractor on the Milestone project. "Innovare Technologies Ltd. specializes in drilling, solution mining and processing technologies for potash and other soluble mineral mining projects."   Innovare Completes Scoping Study for Potential ...more
