Coming full circle

Always interesting when things make their way full circle.

More than a decade ago a rep from Beechy approached every junior potash company in Saskatchewan with a patented idea for a horizontal selective solution mine that could revolutionize current potash extraction methods, and produce much greener results in the process.

Shortly after those presentations were made, every potash junior in Sask started to promote their own version of a novel extraction tech to the public based on a "proven" methodology being used in the oilfield and at the Moab mine owned by Intrepid and along with it making millions through financings, etc without truly understanding the science behind it.

None of them understood that the Moab thought process would not work in Saskatchewan especially cionsidering Moab used to be a conventional mine flooded out, and here we sit 10 years later, with not one of these juniors coming up with a sustainable / economical model of solution mining potash horizontally, and the only company that seems to truly understand the science of building a successful cavern design is, you guessed it -  Beechy Potash

Even more telling is there is no mention of Beechy in the latest Padcom press releases, yet according to drilling docs and earlier press releases, Beechy was the company that got them on their way before egos crept into the mining process, and from my understanding parted ways before the full mine design could be fully developed 3 years ago.

Sorry. Technology got the old guy..  There are NOT a lot of ways of doing selective mining.

Agree 100% oldsalt. Otherwise you would be essentially creating a smaller version of a Belle Plaine conventional solution mine which with it comes with additional processing and much greater OPEX costs defeating the idea of horizontally mining through a highgrade seam with far less impurities. I am positive the current operational conventional solution miners in Saskatchewan would love to slash ...more

Stockwatcher248 - The vast majority of people that own shares and follow GSP on this board are aware of how many shares are currently out and the fact that their is currently no revenue. The company is trying to secure financing to move to the next step. I think everyone would agree it has taken far too long to secure that financing. These types of startups are extremely risky. Absolutely no ...more
