what now?

---after the fleury of private equity investments (Fairfax/Point North) & shorts covering which didn't long, what will drive AGT now? ---with AGT's problems is mgmt. the problem or just the economy? ---are the investments by Fairfax & Point North considered by them/public as a long term (passive) or as activists for change? ---I don't think anybody else will take a bite; so is this dead money till we hear what Fairfax & Point North want AGT to do?

Am long term bullish on AGT.  Medium term, I think the extension of the fumigation exemption through Dec 31 is a positive.  (Given the number of times India has extended the exemption, I am doubtful they would ever actually implement it). My guess on the recent downward price action might be related to deteriorating crop conditions, due to the lack of rainfall. The July 18-24 ...more
