The good news is an ex-dividend date is coming up - it should be going the other way but no. A quick look at the psycho-chart shows that Alaris displays this behaviour repeatedly. Once this starts curling you sell; forget the dividend. Then buy it back at its weakest RSI. That's the only way to average this pig down.

Good thing there are buyers as stupid as I was when I first bought this thing. It has already broken a Fib retracement rule so it's on its way to $18 or less. I'll look at it then, not before.

Nothing to do with being smart or stupid (I doubt you are stupid - just a  gut ;-) ) Fib retracement or not - fact remains that the market can misprice securities either on the higher side or lower side for long periods of time.  If you think managemnt is building a good portfolio of partners then this is a fantastic time to start or increase your position. The most recent news struck me as good; the increased royalties were for two partners with acceptable coverage rather than doubtful, and one of the problem royalties was effectively written off (the latter seems like bad news but it isn't -- it's a clean slate for an old problem and there won't be further bad news on it). I was waiting to add, and today's panic dive seemed a good ...more
