Many people have learned, to their dismay, that the internet is an effective breading ground to speak their libelous statements too easily. Roll the dice and pray investors with deep pockets who may have a lot at stake are not watching or taking notes.

Indeed they are. It is so important for company directors, employees and executives to be very circumspect in posting on these BBs. Some of these companies seem totally oblivious to the risks they incur.
