easycoder You said it ''""Wonder how many shares & warrants  EO's $20 mill would've cost us.  "" It's like I said,,  like being cought between a rock and a hard place when you have 480 million shares out at this stage of development. The dilution in placing $20 million in PP will not leave anything for small shareholders,,,  we get ...more

Sorry, should have said,   ""Sell cheap shares to Eric Sprott or buyout at a discount, markets see the blood in the water and that is how you get a company in trouble"".   IMHO
Comment by Currower on Feb 13, 2018 7:25pm
I'll be happy to sell them between 15 to 20 cents. Sprott's warrants are useless until they are over 9 cents. Now thanks to Owens the world is watching. GLTAL

Nothing like a good old chili cook off! Best wishes to EO.....nothing personal it’s all business. A geo to the bitter end....sometimes you have to let it go! So let’s see....$20 mm in escrow ready to go....hummmm that amount sure would advance this project. Given the share structure why on earth would someone invest in this co? Have they possibly seen early drill results? Have they run the ...more

Even if they are not in the money, ES can always exercise them, just to get the shares to gain control. Besides for a billionaire 33.3M wts @ 0.09 amounts to $3M Cdn (chump change) to get another 6.7% of the company. He could buy the shares in the open market, but such a large order (33M shares) would cause the SP to shoot up. So it would be better to exercise them at a fix price. If ES made his ...more

If his version of events are true, then he makes a good third point. "Third—and only after the NI 43-101 report is released—I propose to look for partners and M&A opportunities. But I will pursue only options that are in the best interests of shareholders and properly value the Company that I as co-founder and CEO, and we as shareholders, have built." However, we still only have ...more

easycoder, Yeah, I think it's actually could be good news that EO has issued this threat, because he has created a legit alternative to what is being proposed by the BoD. The BoD needs close to 250 million shares to approve anything, and I don't see AZX shareholders voting for a poor deal. I also think there is a legit debate about selling now or later, but it all depends on to who and ...more

NP, Bravo for breaking this news (just 7minutes afteter it was released). Just a few general comments. 1. The firing was not at all a surprise. EO essentially asked for it. What would he expect the BoD to do when he fired off a letter early Friday (9 Feb 2018) with his intention to get rid of 3 out of 6 board member, including Gundy, the Chairman who has the support of more than one of the major ...more
