Don't underestimate EO ...
EO might be "toxic" and the reason for the SP falling. The new meaning of this can be read in a different way: This one man with no obvious chance is able to bring down the SP ? He seems to be stronger than the current BoD ? I see the SP as a lost trust in the BoD, because their inactive manner. How comes, that a fired CEO is allowed to offer a meeting, Q/A sessions, personalized letter and much more. At the same time a LEGALLY voted BoD is waiting for the AGM ? Loosing ground is a questionable strategy ... Maybe some people will blame the BoD hitting new lows, rather EO. If EO (really) has the AEM support (means this is the fight between ES and AEM), then EO can exceed easily 25 % of the votes. Question remains, whether what he can do legally with such a bulk of votes ? Ever new requests for Special Meetings ? I similar cases, any Hedge Fund would be able to blow up a company with much less votes. If I would be the BoD ... I would take EO's efforts very seriously, which needs to include a very solid strategy to reach out to all shareholders, using the time until the AGM in a smart way. Otherwise the AGM can end in a big suprize for the BoD, even if EO would not have the majority.

In other words, BoD a reasonable offer should be a part of the voting package then smooth sailing. And yes I wear rose coloured glasses.....

I suggest you use your reference source of choice and look up the term "loose cannon"

Shylock; You say, ""The share price is down for a very simple reason"" I could throw in a few more reasons like,, A 1 for 20 or 25 share rollback, any "new" CEO will want to cleen house and the share count is where they start. AZX @ .04 is a high risk bet at this time. IMO M2

M2 - Yeah, yeah, we've heard your broken record all before. "The Rollback Boogie" by M2. EO's shenanigans are inconsequential . . .

No real bid at .04 now. Not really sure.Could argue benefits to either side unless Agnico is in on it and is in fact supporting EO.Silence by Board is sure not helpful and could impact voting.

That is a bold statement. You seem to believe everything WH says. I do not think WH has my best interest in focus. (jmho) I am sure that EO does not, but your quote is a little presumptuous isn't it? LRG

Shylock. With you things always appear black or white with no possibility for shades of grey. Lots of moving parts here which no-one person is completely cognizant of. Luckily the packages are in the mail and the democratic voting process will soon be before us.Cheers

Hey M2 -- instead of spreading your ill-informed vile on this board, you should be providing comfort to your boyfriend ggrellette, who sold his honduran miner for yet another loss late last week. What a loser! Jmvho. goldopp
