Warrants

Wouldn’t a buying company have to buy sprotts warrants for.09? How does that work? Any info thanks.

cruise, It's interesting that you raised that question on ES wts. Yes, he is sitting on a large chunk of wts (~33M @0.09). He spent $2M for 33M units @ 0.06 and controls about 7%OS (could get up to just below 10% if he bought more from the market, but we don't know this because he's not declared as an insider). Anyhow, ES is here to make money and will not just walk out at a loss. So, ...more

Good post GH -- sounds reasonable re: another PP. I'm not an expert either in the finer details of warrants, but I have a question for you and the board: Can ES's warrants that were in the money, be retroactively exercised being presently out of the money? goldopp
Comment by Schmoby on Jun 25, 2018 4:23pm
Warrants can be exercised at any time if you are willing to pay the exercise price of .09, in this case it makes absolutely zero sense and will never happen. At best he would take part in a new PP at .03-.04 and new warrants at .06 but in all honesty I don't see that happening either. He will support a buy out/merger/take over before dropping another red cent on AZX. The saying would be ...more

Thanks, great trip, a bit long trip though, no direct flights from where I am at. I think maybe there is a slight misunderstanding on accelerating warrants. It would be AZX doing that, normally it's stated at the beginning when they are given at the time of the PP. The catch is however that the holder of the warrants aren't compelled to exercise them. Accelerated warrants generally read ...more

Speaking of ES - Did you see what happened to MTO? GLTO
Comment by Schmoby on Jun 25, 2018 4:15pm
The simple answer is no. The warrants will most likely expire worthless, no one in their right mind would spend .09 for a stock trading between .035-.04 with virtually no liquidity. How would you like to try dumping 33,000,000 shares right now at .05-.06 less than what you pay for it...the SP would be significantly less than .035. Exercising the warrants will never ever happen unless the price ...more

Hey schmoby  --  I should have read this post of yours first, before I responded to the other one you sent that was first in line.  You're just not a very nice person, man  I'm pissed at you.  I was civil in my first post to you, and you disgraced our board.  But you're lucky I'm in a good mood and I'm going to let you off with a warning about your ...more

GO, I am sorry if you took offence to my post above, that wasn't my intent. It is simply what my gut feelings and opinion are, maybe it comes off "harsh" to some people but honestly that's not the intent. I am truly a little surprised why the post above angered you. I try to bring value to the board from my perspective, I realize I am not going to be everyones favourite flavour ...more

They still gotta put the complete re out not to mention unreported drill holes.... I wouldn’t jump the gun just yet. They’ll get 50-70 mil at auction I believe.

Ashram, You are certainly entitled to sell your shares if you feel that AZX has nothing in the ground and its stocks would have no chance to recover from the current level, noting there is no sell-off. For example, yesterday TSX-V volume was 83k, so it would take quite a few trade to unload a block much larger than the daily volume. In fact, you would need to do the selling quietly, since the ...more

Hey ashram  --   so you want to sell the company "at any price."   Boy, you're some kind of awful negotiator.   Listen, alexandria has the best people behind it.  I'm talking about ES, the BoD, and the SC. They also have Kingsdale who I regard as "killers" in getting what their clients' want.  Collectively everyone is working to get the ...more

ASHRAM - Allow me please to respectfully make a few comments pertinent to your remarks. Do NOT listen to the fools of this board, one of whom is "schmoby."  His goal is to cause you to lose your shares. NEVER sell any shares at market, which is to say, "at any price."  We have received very good news today in respect to Eric Sprott supporting management.  Eric ...more

This board has become a farce.   Is it possible to get back on track?  There used to be meaningful discussion here.   No longer I'm afraid.
Comment by Shylock on Jun 26, 2018 4:31pm
mal297 - I would not go quite so far as to designate the entire board a farce although it surely does have moments of comic relief alternating with annoyance provided by its share of fools, knaves, one particularly onerous illiterate, assorted shorts and mms and of course, the Malefactor-in-Chief, EO, the benefactor of the "feast." The board will get fully back on track after the ...more

No problem, ASHRAM.  We all need an objective view and a helping hand from time to time. In a case such as we are confronted with currently, viz. a proxy fight, one can always expect dishonest opportunists to come out from under their rocks to try to make investors who already feel down even moreso in order to get their shares cheaply.  It is important to recognize their tricks and ...more
