" . . . Additionally, after trading precious metals for the better part of four decades, I have learned that gold and silver typically look their worst when they are at or close to significant bottoms. Corrections in the gold market tend to come from points where it appears that the bottom is about to fall out and the price is about to plunge into a bearish abyss. . . "

I believe the sale is already in process and a NR will be soon(2 weeks). This is why the dept settlement happened for accounts and assets to be fully realized. Although the management has a personal vendetta, they will not want to linger as it will only damage their reputations to get things done as most understand a sale is the only option here. JMO.

O ye of little faith - This company is in no bigger a mess than any other junior gold.  Look at the prices, man!  They are ALL DOWN including the best of them because of the downwards manipulation of the price of gold. But that is changing.  Gold is turning around and by some accounts it is going to be quite the turn. Alexandria has the added complication of just having fought ...more

easycoder - Thanks.  Just stating the obvious, to wit, the glass is far more than half-full and it certaily is not as empty as some would portray it. Thanks also for your post and bringing to attention some very pertinent issues.  Yes, people have been successfully propagandized to believe they are going to make gazillions on junk like marijuana which is really nothing more than a ...more

If the BoD thought the SP would be climbing out of this rut without a sale then why would they settle the dept at such a low SP throwing cheap shares away. Brutal. This BoD has been shite and everyone knows it including AEM. I would not be surprised if AEM who apparently supported EO in the vote, made the purchase and reinstate EO.

RYUcan- 1.  Selling is AN option.  It is not THE option. 2.  The debt shares were priced approximately 25% above market.  That is a premium in my book. 3.  If AEM were to buy AZX, I can tell you it would not be because of crook Owens.  Were he not already turfed out and AEM were to buy AZX, all suppositional mind you, Sean Boyd would not have EO sitting in the CEO ...more

Well we will see what happens. It is in their hands now. These guys are not geologists as we have seen with the RE and continual missed deadlines of release, it is a wonder why they did not put Berthelot in the interm CEO spot for the time being if they want to continue with exploration. Why? Look for more shares to be alotted to the board before a sale.

Tks for posting nel  --  I think the thing to watch is china.  At the request of china, trade talks finally reatarted last thursday.  New u.s. sanctions against china are due to kick in on sept 1.  I kinda think that although the u.s. and china won't have reached an agreement by that date, the probability is very high that each country will release a statement saying ...more
