Hey bullura -- O3 must know that their low sp probably means they won't get the votes next week. If their current bid is a serious one, the logical thing to do would be to sweeten it. But regardless, my calculated take is that the market believes Alexandria looks very likely to be back "in play" after the vote.....and without the horrendous $2M+ break fee! Bottom-line: the market is

goldopp - The scenario you lay out makes more sene than any other. Alexandria has more gold than is commonly believed, I stronly suspect, and most certainly it is "in play." We shall see what happens as the time to 'fish or cut bait,' as they say in Texas, gets closer! Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm an Alexandria investor who bought in a couple months before Chantrell/O3 made its first "4 cent" offer.  I just joined today, but have been following this board for a while and appreciate a lot of the guys' informative posts here. Some thoughts and questions I have (JMHO of course) At this point, what do you guys think the odds are of this deal getting voted

Good post trollindirty, and welcome aboard. I think the current O3 bid should be voted down. Oiii's sp is considerably below the "magic" $3.88 price point. Even if sp managed to reach $3.88 before voting, its sustainability would be strongly suspect. So imo O3 probably has no choice but to sweeten its offer or risk losing the vote. Yeah, I think I'm voting no too. After 8 or 9 years of this I can wait a month to get pennies more, or maybe even better.
