Absolute NO Vote

Some newbie posters are arriving here at the next to final hour who are advocating that a YES vote is the only way to go. Be very wary and exercise sound judgement considering, as well, that some personal contacts are being made even by the 03 Exec themselves to select AZX shareholders indicating in desperation that the sky will fall if the deal does not go through. In doing so, some misleading and erroneous information has reportedly been provided.
A key deciding factor should be that Agnico Eagle as outlined here earlier and subsequently verified is voting NO to the deal.Think the why of this out including their probable next step intentions. Also, in support read carefully Agnico Eagle's second to last PR outling the various reasons for their very keen interest in acquiring AZX.  A yes to O3 Mining would mean an absolute steal and extremely high risk not only as we see in the cur likely to occur if it went through.Be wise and don't let fearmongering cause you to be swayed in your personal decision making. If you have voted, it can be changed anytime prior to 10.00 EST 24 July.

I believe a lot of us here ARE going to get our money back, with a lot more certainty of doing that wth AEM. If OIII.v is a bird in the hand it's a magpie.

Hi Mal, or cigarbutts - yes a lot of weird things going on with SH these days, along with a concerted increase in targetted spam. As for AEM they just have to wait for the O3 offer to expire to avoid the $2m cancellation fee. It would stick in their craw to pay that to the Osisko boys.   As for $3.88 subscription you refer to, who paid cash? Was all smoke and mirrors with Osisko ...more

Good points. Made a "No" vote with 700,000 shares.

Hear!  Hear! The obvious desperation of OIII and their dissemination of disingenuous comments, as reported, coupled with their psychological ploy to create an atmosphere of false urgency scream loudly for an absolute NO vote. Why hook up with a loser bunch like OIII after the previous experience with EO? Do NOT fall for the specious verbiage of OIII.  They NEED Alexandria badly for ...more
