Supreme Court received Ingemmet's appeal

Supreme Court received Ingemmet's appealFor those of you who are interested in following Ingemmet's appeal (Recurso de Casacion) against the recent second court judicial ruling (favorable to $LI), you can do it in the Supreme Court's web page. Type/select the required information:

Sala Suprema: SALA SUPREMA CONSTITUCIONAL Y SOCIAL PERMANENTE
Tipo Recurso: CASACION
Numero de Recurso: 07493 - 2024

After typing the captcha and pressing "Buscar", you will we able to see an scheme of the appeal process; which includes 6 phases:

File received (Ingreso a Mesa Partes). When this icon is shown in colors, it means that the file has been received by the Supreme Court. In the image bellow, the scheme shows that Ingemmet's appeal was received on April 5.

Qualification scheduled (Programacion Calificacion). This phase is completed (showed in colors) when the Supreme Court has set a date on which the supreme judges will decide whether the appeal meets the formal requirements (admisibilidad) and the substantial requirements (procedencia), in which case it should be heard.

Qualification carried out (Fecha calificacion). This phase is completed when the supreme judges have decided whether the appeal should be heard or not. If the majority of judges (that is, a minimum of 3 out of 5 judges) decide that the appeal is "inadmisible" (doesn't meet the formal requirements) or "improcedente" (doesn't meet the substantial requirements), then the appeal will be rejected and returned to the Superior Court so that it can be executed. As an example, in 2021 85% of the appeals were rejected by the Supreme Court.

Appeal heard (El Recurso est: VOTADO). This phase is completed when the appeal has been heard and the Supreme judges have issued their votes. This phase is skipped if the appeal was rejected in the previous phase.

Resolution issued (Expide Ejecutoria). Once the judges have made a decision, a Supreme Resolution is issued and notified to the parties and the original Court (the 4th Superior Court in this case).

File returned (Devolucion a Corte). The appeal has been returned to the original Court and the judicial process comes to an end.

Pressing the "Seguir Tramite" button in the upper right corner, you can see the details of the appeal in a text format:
