Bellatrix example

Bellatrix inked a tenative deal with a private Korean company to joint venture the development of the Cardium assets. The deal was signed in late January, but never closed.

Bellatrix was trading at about $4 before the deal was announced. 2 months after the announcement the share price increased by more than 60%. When the deal didn't close, the SP declined a bit, but it's now back up to those high levels.

The process made investors realize the value of the Cardium. Angle is a huge player and the 5th largest land owner in the Cardium.
