I used your chart but replaced ANS with CFP NBD CUT WOOD etc and they all dropped quite a bit below 50dma and bounced back. This 50dma does not mean much.

Woo thanks just looked at them too , all nice chart action , sector is moving back up , almost all had nice hammers telling you the turn is in , And CFP had a red hollow hammer my absolute favourite candle stick to buy ,holding the 50 ma here just tells us we are amongst the strongest in the group

ANS dropped 5% in the morning, then recovered with a gain. From the various lumber stock charts, ANS seem to be a laggard compared to other stocks, with other stocks already reached bottom few days ago while ANS reached bottom today. Lumber price has been going down for more than a month though https://futures.tradingcharts.com/chart/LU/53?anticache=1360608519

You should be looking primarily at OSB pricing for Ans not lumber, K. It looks like OSB has gone down a bit too but that may not be a bad thing as the cost of materials in building has been an issue for some builders...this might convince them to build more homes, etc.....in any event the prices are still high relatively speaking and Ans should do well at these levels imho......

Can you give me a link to get OSB charts? Is there a future for OSB?
