the woods are getting scary.....

dont like it.. norbord, west frasier are weak... lumber prices have shown weakness at the same time

sold out my ainsworth today.... may look to re-enter if shares move positively after earnings but dont like the vibe generally in the woods right now... ans earnings will be good and a divi may still be on the way but may be priced in already

Kind of what I have been saying all along.  Glad I am out and made my $$$.  I may jump back in for a quick trade up to $3.80 if the opportunity presents itself.

the underlying narrative re: US home and retail market recovery remains largely intact as far as I can see, F. The retail sales of building materials was actually up in April after a drop in March.....China seems to be firing on  most cylinders if not all.......I don't really see what you are worried about but you could, of course, be prescient........what do your charts tell you?

Making lower lows each time it declines and that is never a good thing.  Fundamentals mean zippo when sentiment changes.  The market may hvae priced in all these gains already.  Earnings will be a ho-hum event.  Expectations are so high, nothing they put out there will be good enough.

OSB was $354 last week so at least it stopped dropping. I think a turn around may happen. I assume the dividend would be dead idea for ANS considering NBD instated one and it didnt do anything for their share price. I would rather see the ...more

Do you think that there will be a summer slump for ANS, M? It seems to be the case for most forest products firms, I think. That would lead me to think that the best strategy would be to sell on an upswing (earnings report results?) and then buy back in again in the fall....comments anyone?

i dont like how the shares of norbord, west frasier are not trading well... factor this with lumber prices showing really first sign of weakness in a long time and to me there are too many warning signs to risk losing the gains already made in the woods   norbord shares are well below the recent offering and recent earnings which were very good.... west frasier share chart looks like ...more
