Gold is looking to be flat for the week. China is looking stronger for most part.

Short squeeze starting?  Good time to take a long position?

ANV is a classic high cost producer play. If the POG really is going to rise then no doubt ANV will also rise. Just look at the run from January to March when POG was showing positive signs.  Sure the PFS shifted valuation points but the overall trend is still going to hold.  If POG rises then ANV bottom line net will improve much quicker htan for say an AEM or GG. But if POG drops ...more

Excellent Article: The rise in gold price last summer and this winter, both $200 increase in gold price, were mostly driven by shorters needing to cover. We have exactly the same situation now as shorters have been building positions for the past three months. Last summer the gold price surge took 45 days then 3 months of new shorting followed by three months of price building as the shorters ...more
