they missed analysts stimates. on the other way POG is getting grossly oversold.... mostly priced in. who knows. Oil RSI for December futures contract is showing convergence. does not mean we hit bottom per se yet. I hope so though. fcking Saudis. If oil does not come back up soon, gold will be suffering also. quite a few gold stocks saw some bounce today SMF had a 10% come back... impressive... but GS already blessed them last year lol GLTa

granafirme While it is true that weak oil suggests a back drop of deflation, such as in 2008, energy costs are a big part of the overhead costs of miners. So, weak energy price can help miners' bottom lines, if the POG can stabilize and/or move higher. The ideal situation for gold miners is for the POG to have relative strength to the price of energy.
