I personally emailed Investors Enquiry, surprised by a Sunday answer by the CFO

Which means that this will not impact the profitability but only the cash on hands.

Good thing they sold remainer of Aleafia shares.

Hi N00b Thanks for the confirmation of the good news related to the Aleafia settlement being dealt with in Q4 That was the way I read it as per the MD& A in July which I posted the paragraph related to the settlement yesterday But yes there was a little bit of a grey area for interpretation As usual I'm looking forward to your post regarding Q1, 2021 earnings as we usually are pretty much

This will effect the share price. The markets watch the balance sheet, and cash position. This will be highlighted by the media as well since it is a Q1 2021 transaction. What is mis leading is the fact that the Aphia financials makes no statement about compensation to Aleafia for Q1. Instead it posts about the settlement reached by Q4 2020. I was right that this was not dealt with in Q4 of 2020.

DD, are you saying that N00binvestTOR's email from Carl is not correct? I am going to take Carl's written words as accurate that it was done in Q4.

The Q1 impacts are balance sheet related, cash paid are a Q1 transaction and the shares issued are a Q1 transaction. But again on impact statement impact, only the balance sheet. It is clear as day that this transaction is to be recorded this quarter on the balance sheet. Sur Revs and EPS are not immediately effected, but the market will look at the cash position in the Balance sheet and wonder

I simply no longer know who or what to believe anymore.  When individuals like Moez can profit as they seem to be able to, and President's pay 750 dollars in income tax on apparently billions of dollars of business, it seems the line between reality and WTF has disappeared...fake news or fake walls...hard to know what is and is not. For every person that claims Aleafia was looked after
