Good deal, lol

To the morons on here that are saying this is a good deal, you guys are a bunch of morons. Or just Tilray pumpers. This is not a good deal. Aphria is worth over 3 billion dollars MC, If anything it should be the other way around and Tilray shareholders paying a primium. CEO is a f#$&in idiot. Definetly vothing no on my 50,000 shares, unfortunately that won't make a dent, but it will help.

You are right on 1 point . Your vote won't make a dent . Because I have 4 times your shares and will vote yes. If you are sincere, and truly own shares in Aphria. Then you do realize that this is a reverse acquisition ! We will own Tilray 62 percent. We paid a small premium to acquire them. so let me help you understand since your confused. Tilray listed at $17 USA ipo  years ago . We ...more

"You are right on 1 point . Your vote won't make a dent . Because I have 4 times your shares and will vote yes." Well I doubt you have four times the shares I do and who cares what Tilray traded at years ago, Aphria once traded at 22$. Tilray is burning through cash and I am not sure that this was a good deal.

Im not saying this is a bad deal. It gives us Global exposure. The US will decriminilize and this will send all Pot stocks soaring again. This is a long term hold. Still some confusion and the markets are not loving the deal.

You obviously don't sh1t about Tilray, Majority ownership by one owner, it was never even close to being worth what it shot up to. It was held y 1 guy , and this is very well documented with an easy google search. I'm not even wasting my time with you, you know very little and probably had to borrow money to start trading, lol. New comer to the game because you smoke weed and thought you ...more

Actually it wasn't 1 guy. It was Privateer Holdings. And yes Aphria is 1of 2 companies that has provided wealth that you couldn't imagine . So yes I've been around since the beginning , and listening to the same message every time Aphria makes a positive move . Those who missed the rise and backed the wrong horse always bash . https://twitter.com/weedstreet420/status/1339344310194610181 Be aware of the Tilray unlock for Privateer. Also to be a true long doesn't mean you have to ride through the painful storms. At the bottom you can load more shares. That is the route I am opting to take this round of the rodeo. Long wait till this deal will get scratched, if it does. Bullish catalysts on hold from what I see.  ...more

It actually all makes sense to me now. For Privateer to agree to the deal and lose controlling interest in Tilray they needed concessions and in turn Privateer had to agree not to just dump their remaining interest if they didn't like the way things were going. I bet that's where we get our haircut as Aphria investors.

Nice find CC and great post.  There is always a reason behind these crappy deal and now we know why.  Like I said this deals stinks for APHA shareholders.  The insiders of Tilray/ Privateer are going to make out like bandits on the back of APHA shareholders.  Wait till more information and dirt gets dug up and into the spot light regarding this deal.  Whats new here ...more

Wow this deal really stinks. This could be a way for Privateer to unlock that clause and sell their holdings. This is starting to give me bad vibes last past Aphria deals, you know which ones I am taling about... How much does Simon receive in a bonus for doing this deal and what is his pay increase? That's what we all deserve to know. Bc in the surface Tilray brings nothing to the table for ...more
