CIBC : 90 MINS TO 3 HRS TO REACH SOMEONE in TRADING!!

ANYONE HERE EXPERIENCING THE SMAE THINGS WITH CIBC OR OTHER  BANKS? 

THIS IS CRAZY

Last 2 weeks I called TD numerous times for hours and never reached anyone.  I wanted to buy MSO stocks from pink sheets. Finally I bought Canadian stocks through my American account and in the background my stocks were converted to USA.  service is non existence

thx . this is crazy. i am trying to transfer to tfsa becasue i need yesterday's price to be reflected, this is crazy . in the past 2 weeks ive called several times and never ever was able reach anyone before at least 90 minsutes. so far tdy. ive been holding since 2:20 pm and they close at 5:30 i wonder if they'll answer. the other day i waited until 5:30 and  and no one answered than

I don't have CIBC but I transfered stocks into my TFSA & then again into RSP accounts 'In Kind' I suspect CIBC has similar. TD has help videos to review that help if you are doing it the 1st time

I'm with Qtrade and did the same, a transfer "in kind" to my TFSA. I also topped it off to the $6,000 limit from my bank to Qtrade. No need for a phone call.  But calling any company these day, your always on hold. I called Visa, they put me in line but with a call back. So when my turn came up, they called me. A lot better then staying on the line.

I to have CIBC investors edge and I just transfer funds from bank account to TFSA with no phone calls needed but have to make sure you link accounts before being ableto transfer
