Strangest Thing Happened:

Last night I put in a sell order for 3,000 shares at $35.80 but changed it to $36.80 after I saw that Aphria was up $5 on the German exchange. I thought that is an extra $3,000 but it probably won't get taken out anyways. This morning I checked my sell order and was pleased to see all 3,000 shares had been sold for $39.00 at 9:31 am.  That is an extra $2.20/ shr.   My only guess is that somebody messed up with a much too high "buy".  That is a $6,600 bump in my favour and a $9,600 over my original ask ...... NICE!
I would like to thank the person who took those shares off my hands today.

That's why u never buy or sell at market price. That online auction moves so fast u just never know. What it will be at when the order goes through.

I love when that happens. It is because APHA opened at $39 and the selling price goes to whomever has the highest Bid. Your Ask sets at a limit of how low you are willing to take, not how high. Quite frankly after those hellish Grego days you deserve those extra dollars! Congrats and smart taking some small trims as we go with your large position. Good on you Vinny.

Yeh, I wasn't so lucky. I had a sell order  for OGI at $8 and it topped out at $7.99. lol. I guess you win some,...you lose some. Maybe I'll get $10 as a consolation.

Vinny - I had the same thing happen to me. I put in a $36.50 sell order, and it sold at $39.00. I also know two other people who this happened too. Life is good!!! GLTA $$$ P.S - I am enjoying the hell out of this amazing ride!! It is pure redemption holding on to 85% of my original buy in from more than 4 years ago and selling off 75% today. I made more money today than the 28 years I have worked ...more
