A message to Tilray Share Holders

There is rumblings that if the price gap doesn't close between Tilray and Aphria, many tikray shareholders will vote down the merger. Remember Tilray only has renewed hope because of Aphria being its concrete basin. Whatever Tilray share price is when the time comes to vote, just remember if the deal doesn't happen that share price of yours will be two dollars for Tilray. Aphria will be just fine and profitable next quarter. We already know this because Irwin Simon said it basically last quarter.

Tilray vote is already locked in with insiders.

Okay great. I was just reading forums and was under the impression tilray shareholders get a vote?  Is this inaccurate?  I'm just thinking to myself your shares (tilray) were in the dumps before this announced merger. I agree MoMo....this is a done deal...barring any massive skeleton...even a hostile offer is really not possible given where the shareprice is...Irwin was clever in this reverse take over...make no mistake this is APHA taking over TLRY....this deal is two fold....effectively it was a poison pill as well...Apha managment knew the price would run stopping any potential hostile offer..I for one have ...more

As Irwin put it, it is a 1 + 1 = 5 deal. Putting all the European assets in one basket puts all the bargaining power into the new APHA+TLRY company. It takes away from suitors bargaining back and forth between the two companies. Although I would prefer to just see the company keep growing the way Irwin has being doing. Irwin, Carl and team will work the efffciencies and revenue + profits will ...more

Can you please explain why if the merger does not go through Aphria share holders give 2 dollars per share to Tilray share holders ? Or whatever you meant  about the 2 dollar comment Thanks

There is a $65 million termination fee for the party that wants to pull out of the deal.

Oh let me clarify I apologize. If the merger does not go through, Tilray share price will fall faster then GameStop to two dollars (my prediction). They are more reliant as a business on Aphria then vise versa. Some rumblings I read among Tilray forums is Aphria shareholders have the better deal but in reality Tilray is running up and will continue a run up once the Reddit non sense passes do to ...more
