Zacks ranking system is incredible

Tilray is rated a hold while Aphria is ranked a strong sell.  If this isn't evidence of  a completey trash ranking system what is?  Hahah.  They take into account no macro catalysts across the globe or the fact SweetWater in USA hasn't even reported a full quarter yet. I can go on and on the fact they rank tilray a hold and Aphria a 5 strong sell should tell you it belongs in the comedy section or under novel fiction not stock news.

CanelsAbel I am sitting on a pile of cash and money market funds waiting to deploy it. Was hoping for a dip to $20 to add to my current holdings (ie. currently hold  3,000 shares at $18.65 avg cdn). I am starting to think we will never go under $20 again.  I may have missed my last chance recently when it hit $17.51 cdn about 3 weeks ago.  I had a limit price there if $17 ...more

Always keep at least 25 percent cash on hand for sudden dips in the market. With the High corporate debt and high yield junk bonds skyrocketing the market remains in high volatility. If you research Zombie companies, it growing number of corporations in high bond debt that are barley paying the interest payments. If the fed had raised the interest, it would almost have certainly triggered a market ...more

Let me just add if it does drop below 24 cad don't strike all your cash at once. That should be your first strike purchase. Then wait and observe, if it continues to dip continue to strike and if she climbs we'll sit back

No problem at all. After Aphrias stellar upcoming report and the merger with Tilray, I expect consolidation well above 25. The new normal of cheap buying will be lower thirties in my opinion and on from there. Right now below 24ish for a very short while. Catalysts will bring everything up and new cheap buy points. In a few months we will be talking mid thirties like we are talking about 24ish now ...more

CaneIsAbel Just in the conversion alone one would think it makes sense to buy Apha on the tsx to profit from not only the conversion of Apha shares to Tilray shares but on the tsx Aphria shares exchange ratio of roughly 1.27 rate? My shares in my case as follows:(3,000 Apha shares on tsx) 3,000 shares times .8281 equals 2,484.30 Tilray shares 2,484.30 shares times current Tilray price ...more

Ron FWIW Don't set your buy/sell orders on even or whole numbers as the algo's play off them Try using. 02, 03, 07 or 08 as example's In this case $17.52 would have filled Don't worry about the couple of pennies as your decision is going to be either right or wrong This has worked very well for me GLTA Longs Best, CentreIce
