Sector M&A activity continues

Oddly it is Canopy Growth that quietly buys Ace Valley, a Canadian company for an undisclosed amount. Apparently Ace Valley has a consumer following but for myself I have never heard of them before. I see on the OCS they are mainly vapes, a few pre-roll selections and gummies. A strange acquisition, but the activity continues as the sector consolidates.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Vivo picked up by one of the major players. They could have a great thing going there if they had some better management. At $0.16 per share, there's not much to lose.

Less than a week later. Canopy makes another acquisition, Supreme.  I wonder if when TLRY/APHA completes this merger if King Irwin has a "next" on his hit list of M&A activity. What else is in the oven? eom momo
