Merger vote

Can anyone comment on the certainty of the merger vote passing by either company? What is required by both companies for it to go through? I am concerned based on the reminders that were sent out. Thanks for comments

It is a 2/3s majority vote.  Personally, although I was originally against it, they got my vote and I think we will see over 90% in favour.  This WILL pass.

Appreciate the comments, is Tilray the same 2-3 rds? and what are your opinions on their emphasis to vote?
Comment by Shazam57 on Apr 14, 2021 3:55pm
Yes. In my opinion and I'm not a guru when it come to stock trading and anaylsis so take it with a grain of salt but if there is a low turnout people make start to speculate that it isn't the greatest deal.

I did not see that nor hear that. This is my own opinion.  Who would vote NO at this stage? A No vote would send the price back to single digits. I am wanting to replenish some of the 30% shares I have sold last month and the price right now is beginning to get very tempting.  However, I DO NOT, in anyway, want to see this go much lower. Protecting the remaining 70% is FAR more important ...more

Shareholder meeting was kind of confusing but it almost sounded like it was approved. Don't quote me on that though. Sedar document is supposed to be filed "shortly after the meeting adjourned"...

I believe Simon said today after the seminar and to be posted on Sedar.  No timeframe when today though, It's a given it will go though IMO.  Expect a bit of a bounce up in share price but don't expect the 30 percent plus bounce.  Most of this was already priced in imo.   We get the next big jump in price based on the next big institution that buys into Aphria or ...more
