Aphria did not lose $361 million in the last quarter

I do not know why people keep posting this piece of misinformation. Aphria did not lose $361 million in cash this past quarter. Look at the financial statements. Its mostly non-cash loss due to the share based compensation ($36 million) and the convertible debentures ($365 million).  These are non-cash losses due to the increase in the share price during the quarter. This will improve once the merger completes and they switch to US GAAP accounting rules). Then there was the $12 million for transaction costs related to the Tilray merger. The adjusted net loss when these are removed is just under $48 million. For further details please refer to pages 28-30 of the MD&A.

The reaity is that the company is losing money. The reality is that the stock is in a monthly and weekly downtrend, which strongly suggests the share price will continue to fall. There is a mjaor support ...more
