I believe
They have not filed for bankruptcy. They have filed a notice of intention to make a proposal under Part III of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. This means they will propose to pay their debt in another way than first stipulated. Nobody here knows why they do this and what it would mean for the company and its shareholders. If anybody suggests that they know the reason behind this and what it would mean, please present facts! Currently there is a lot of writers here who are just spreading huff and puff, fear, uncertainty and doubt. I understand that many of us are heavily invested in this company, both with heart and hard earned cash. However, if you are speculating in all the what ifs in a doomsday fashion, you need to be clear that it is just speculation. I do not know why the company is filing this notice, but I firmly believe the company will clarify the why and we all will with realize that it is for the best of the company and its current shareholders. If management had ill intentions, why would they release the China deal. We have never been closer to large scale industrial production. The tec is verified at the highest standard. Chinese partner is onboard and has concluded that the tec is at the stage of full commercial deployment at a large scale. ECEC already has project financing relationships with both domestic and international financial institutions. ECEC will immediately start work on three projects in parallel: the design and bidding for Argex's technology centre in Quebec; a 25-kilotonne plant in China; and the previously announced project in Vietnam. You see, WHY release the best NR ever in the history of the company just to screw us over in the next step. I believe, now speculating, that the company has reached a point where it can really attract institutions as shareholders, and in order to be able to do that full out they need to do the reversed split and clean up the balance sheet. This is not an elaborate way of screwing us, but rather a natural thing to do when reaching the stage of full commercial deployment at a large scale. I am just speculating, but this is what I believe.
