Very low volume

While the decline in SP is annoying, it's also essentially meaningless in light of the volume; just a couple of retail investors giving away their small holdings.  As indicated, we await numbers and signs that the merger is going smoothly. GLTA

Tottaly disagree, The stock you are seeing trade is a fund or two , divesting itself of ARALEZ.   It may be a tax offset, with a possible buy back in the future? or maybe a better situation arose, plent of good deals out there.,,,,. 2.4 Million shrs yesterday.., even with double counting, is not retail investors.  I also think the posters here are putting too much into the coming ...more

Lots of cheap assets out there right now and ARLZ has a hoarde of cash to invest. Not a bad place to be. Yeah everyone is still waiting on yosprala, but that might be an error on investors' part.

Bigboyone - As a Canadian, my low volume comment was obviously based on the TSX and not the NSD.  Plus we're also being impacted by the negative sentiment for the health care sector in general. Agree that YOSPRALA will drive us forward. GLTA

Unless there are some surprises in the way of M&A or other tidbits, for the meantime, this sucks. yosprala will be the catalyst and that's already approaching 2017. Then earnings for yosprala through 2017-2018. A long term play, sure.  I would not be surprised to see ARLZ go below $5.

ARLZ has been following Valeant tick for tick for about a week now. It's just sector trading.

So we live or die by Hilary's dialogue!
Comment by Kisu on Mar 01, 2016 2:34pm
Agreed.  A real kick in the ARZ:)

Well, yes, sector sentiment is a bit hectic now. Does not excuse what I said, however.  This is not moving till good news which, if yosprala is the target, will be quite some time from now unless there are unforeseable positive catalysts.  So, until then, I imagine the same or similar movement for Aralez that we have been seeing from October onward. It's a drag to see the price ...more

I would bet dollars to doughnuts, Yosprala, has a another deficiencie or warning letter. This action of breaking the 52 week low, and going lower, is not Hilary or market sector.  Thats already old news. It doesnt help, but something internal is going on for sure. I am guessing here, sure seems like it.

You would then need to explain to me why it's following Valeant tick for tick.
Comment by snootchybootchy on Mar 01, 2016 4:38pm
Tried to buy some more today but did not hit my bid.  V.TRX never went below a dollar (about $6.90 for T.ARZ) during the oil price tantrum or after Hilary's initial tweet or Valeant's fraud allegations Part I.  So I think we are near the bottom.  Will try to buy again tomorrow.

I actually picked up a few shares this morning for the first time in months. Seems to be going through the same cycle as TRX went through - low volume, fading share price, good recommendations .... then comes the earnings, conventions and its first deal. Yeah sucks to be losing money on paper, but the stock really hasn't started trading yet. Once we have earnings in, then we can take the ...more

Feb 9 the share price was $8.59 and today it is down again and stands at $7.26. Will the results be a catalyst for an uptick or will it be 'look out below'. I was told to sell it a couple of weeks ago and I chose to ignore that advice to see how the new structure would work out  -- so far,  my bad.
