Arcan Resources Ltd > ARN a consolidator?

ARN a consolidator?

THE real opportunity to make $billions is for the investment bankers to get behind ARN as the consolidator in the Swan Hills. The best of the near by "johny come lately's" have standing wells waiting on acid and other services for completions. The pace of their development is too slow to hold their acreage and attract ongoing financing as evidenced by the recent desperate deals that are starting to be done with larger operators.  The public ones will lanquish as they give up operatorship to larger players, and the private companies now likely won't be sponsored to go public.  A huge opportunity exists here and selling ARN to  CPG or PGF is the wrong move.

Sorry teevee, ARN doesn't have the management or the access to capital to rapidly exploit their own assets, let alone start buying out others. ARN will sell to CPG, just accept tha fact and start looking for new opportunities.

CPG are financial engineers, not oil finders and developers. I believe they are close to falling off the tread mill they are on and have to digest the recent aquisitions before taking on an acquisition like ARN. If ARN is bought out, I doubt it will be by CPG, unless the only buyer at a fire sale price.

"If ARN is bought out, I doubt it will be by CPG" ------------------------------------------------------------- CPG already owns 20$ of ARN, and ARN's lands are intertwined with all of the other assets CPG has been accumulating in the area. So, teevee, you will have to explain how you think it will not be CPG that buys Arcan. Give us your reasoning, we are all ears.

Sorry, that should have read 'CPG already owns 20% of ARN' So teevee, where is your reasoning? If you don't respond, we can only assume you are just babbling.

coorsman, I suggest you re read my post. I said that CPG are financial engineers, and not oil finders and developers. CPG are close to hitting the wall and at some point, will fall off the acquisition tread mill they are on in order to replace their rapidly declining reserves. Like I said, CPG would have to be the only bidder, and at a fire sale price for the acquisition of ARN to be accretive for ...more

teevee, with all due respect, you have no idea what you are talking about.   You say; "CPG are close to hitting the wall and at some point, will fall off the acquisition tread mill they are on in order to replace their rapidly declining reserves."   The only way they can replace reserves is by buying companies like ARN with a lot of undeveloped resources, and drill them up ...more

""CPG could pay $10 in CPG shares right now and the deal would be accretive in no time, as CPG would accelrate the drilling and production schedule""   LOL.....who would want CPG paper? That is their achilles heal. If ARN gets bought, I predict it will be for cash, and that is a commodity CPG doesn't want to part with.
