Directors/employees feeling the pain on their portfolio?

Maybe, but looking at their financial records 24 office employees & 4 field operatives shared:
Year                                    2012                 2011
Wages, salaries and bonus $ 4,729,000        $ 4,906,000
Benefits and other personnel costs 825 94
Stock-based compensation (i) 7,325,000         10,132,000
Total employee remuneration 12,879,000         15,132,000
Something tells me they aren't hurting - unless they try to find another job with such huge salaries/bonuses and benefits given their proven track record!  a 42 cent share price from $7.65 and a whole year of drilling and virtually no increase in BOE

Your only assumption is that anyone other than management and directors shared much of that windfall you listed. In 2012 they had about 10 fewer employees than 2011and yet salaries only dropped $200k. Heck, Ian Fisher alone made more than that! And Ed Gilmet! Someone's got to pay for that grease they slick their hair back with and unfortunately, I was one of the suckers who bought stock...
