You are missing something. CPG and/or LTS can kill this deal, then come back with a total buyout offer. If the common shares plummet as you expect, then the shareholders would jump at the chance to get the f out of this disaster.

If they wanted it, they would have come by now.......and why make an offer if they kill the deal? Why not wait for ARN to deteriorate further, and maybe pick up the pieces in a distress sale, or from the banks if the LOC was reduced or called, putting ARN into default at the annual review of the LOC? I highly doubt LTS and CPG along with the banks care about the debenture holders.

I am getting the feeling you have been buying common shares, and are lying about not having a position.
