Look at Best Buy

Best Buy was the most hated stock in the US,The stock has doubled in the last few months with the arrival of new management,,,The Board of BBY did what all BOD should do  ,,,,,assume its fiduciary responsibility

Why is Atrium sBoard so slow in reacting to poor stock performance and poor execution of management??

If you are looking for that kind of turnaround, I suggest you take a look at Rona (RON), a company with a new BOD and a new CEO.   About Atrium, I took this summary from the 2011 report, giving all the essential infos:     We can see revenues and gross profit growing very fast, but operating expenses growing faster and EBITDA growing slower with a diminishing % of revenue. The point I was making with Best Buy is that a new Board and CEO can make a big difference and my hope is that ATB follows suit......If you compare 2012 with 2011 you will note that EBITDA % now down to 20% and moreover Q4 2012 EBITDA was 19.5%...Metrics have been deteriorating for 3 years  and what is even worst in my opinion is that management is just starting to realize that things need to ...more
