Amazing how ATB s management are acting as if it were a private company .I have sent an e mail to a fund getting involved with companies that underperform because of lousy management and ..........(to be followed...)

Non performance has consequences Dupont and Dupont will hopefully soon find out

An activist getting involved would be really nice but, they would need to acquire first at least 5% of outstanding shares to get a return and also to be large enough to be heard. Pretty tough or slow process with this very low volume. Their only chance would be to acquire a large block size from another fund who is not willing to be anything else than passive. FTQ S 16.5 % stake is probably for sale mainly because of their need for cash as a result of changes in their tax status since the last Federal Budget Anyway I   dont know the HOW but It is fair to assume   that the number of dissastified shareholders is growing.Necessity is the mother of invention....Change is coming with an activist or otherwise...The recent nomination of a new ...more
