On a news cast last night I understood that Joe Biden was going to stop protection of intellectual property rights. IE patent protection. What is going on here and what effect would this have on Antibe? If this is even partly true it would be devastating to a huge number of investors and the companies involved. China has been stealing IP for years and now this......

 Even so I have to wonder if this developes into something more sinister down the road. Vaccines are a type of drug.

I think those comments come before a good debate on the subject. Yes there may be needs to get certain drugs to market faster - for that, hoping there is a way to share IP short-term and get assistance from others in a win-win scenario. To simply just work around IP would be silly for government as it would stall development.  There would be no insentive to spend money to develop new drugs

Hoping they don't want to see people die - but they do want to be compensated.  A similar thing can be said about some of those countries and the policies they choose - are they willing to let their people die ?  Sure there should be volume discounts, there should be profit sharing with those other groups that get involved and local governments are going to have to dole out some of
