Perception

It's interesting how some people look at today's price move as a bad thing but I look at it slightly differently.  There are two things that I took away from today's volatility.  The first thing that I am sure other long term investors saw was the chance to pick up some extra shares at a price that I personally wasn't expecting until the dog days of summer.  Sometimes Christmas in July, happens in February?  Don't look a gift horse in the mouth in my opinion.  However, the other thing that I found interesting was, last week when someone wanted to purchase 40,000 shares it drove up the price seven cents.  On the contrary, today when someone (for whatever reason) wanted to exit their position, dumping almost 600,000 shares, there was plenty of buyers willing to scoop them up at a discount and as a result the shares only fell seven cents.  It's all how you look at things, but it seems like a positive thing to me.
