Do not be fooled by recent run.

This is a typical example of shorting. Last couple weeks were a selloff and this week is running it up just in time for measure and indicated results and then...BOOM massive selloff. Just look at the trends. I hate to admit this but, Commisoner is right. There is oversupply at the moment and has been for almost a year now which is why lithium has been doing awful. Please invest in this stock at your own risk. It's a nightmare for some people right now

That depends on how long you are prepared to wait for a turn around. ---2019 with be a surplus year for lithium How is it a surplus year for lithium? You have to look at demand for different grades. Chinese spot price is down because there is a surplus for low grade products. High quality products maintained their prices, this is visible through SQM/ALB. Fastmarket forecasts several years of ...more

2019 with be a surplus year just as 2018 was. Chinese spot prices were down in 2018 because of a surplus and because of decreased demand for both technical grade min 99% and battery grade min 99.5%. Sqm and abl do not produce higher quality products. A grade is determined by its purity not it's producer. Battery grade is battery grade whether produced by sqm or by a Chinese producer.
