Bruce doesn't sound too bright.
He probably sold in the sub-4.50 range. The stock will in all probably drift up. Also, it's still paying me 8% - I bought @ 5.43 almost 2 years ago. For new buyers, that's 10% now. Oil is going to continue to climb. Avenex is a solid, well-run company. I don't like losing 2%, but I'm certainly not going to sell. The divi goes up, the divi goes down. So long as you're holding for the divi, the sp at any particular time doesn't really matter, does it? Bruce should keep his day job, if he has one. If not, he should get one. IMO, he's not very good at this one.

...time will pass...dust will settle...some in the future will not know this even happened... all will be forgiven...and new people will pile into this one as a good 8% yield play...and the rest of us will sit back and earn the dividend while we wait...the market has a short memory...

Doesn't sound like he sold, if stockchase heard him right. Well I listened to it again and it sure sounded like he was selling!! Listen for yourself, it's about 3 minutes into the video. watch.bnn.ca/#clip648635

"Well I listened to it again and it sure sounded like he was selling!!" I agree with you. Stockchase didn't catch that.

Bruce Campbell sold at the open and began buying back towards the end . He feels that 4.40 is a buy.
