Bruce doesn't sound too bright.

He probably sold in the sub-4.50 range. The stock will in all probably drift up. Also, it's still paying me 8% - I bought @ 5.43 almost 2 years ago. For new buyers, that's 10% now. Oil is going to continue to climb. Avenex is a solid, well-run company. I don't like losing 2%, but I'm certainly not going to sell. The divi goes up, the divi goes down. So long as you're holding for the divi, the sp at any particular time doesn't really matter, does it? Bruce should keep his day job, if he has one. If not, he should get one. IMO, he's not very good at this one.

You should correct yourself divys don't go up and go down with companies that can sustain it...when they go up they rarely come back down save for recession times, in the case of AVF the divy has not gone up but has gone down now twice since it was a trust, that is not good and too many uncertainties with the stock in 2012 and upcoming quarter results.  The only reason why I didn't ...more

...time will pass...dust will settle...some in the future will not know this even happened... all will be forgiven...and new people will pile into this one as a good 8% yield play...and the rest of us will sit back and earn the dividend while we wait...the market has a short memory...

According to stockchase, he said,   "Small junior oil. Lowered its dividend so took a hit. Had some gas and the hedges are coming off. Looks at it as short-term pain for long-term gain. Bruce Campbell sold at the open and began buying back towards the end . He feels that 4.40  is a buy.
