Asset sales ??????????

A wait and see what happens in this process...FYI...Long, Strong and holding..Regards to ALL patient investors, TimeBuilder

AvenEx also announces that it has initiated a process to identify potential alternatives to maximize the value of its oil and natural gas properties. Such alternatives may include, but are not limited to, the sale of all or a portion of AvenEx's assets, the sale of the corporation, or a merger or other business combination or similar transaction. AvenEx cautions that there are no assurances that the process will result in a transaction or, if a transaction is undertaken, the terms or timing of such a transaction.

It looks like AVF would like to keep Elbow and dispose of the oil and gas, and maybe not such a bad idea, as no value currently seems to be placed on Elbow by the market. To me the important line in the Q2 release is in Kisu's quote, where they expect Q3 cash flow to ...more

I had the option and considered buying at $3.  However, I'm not a big fan of catching a falling knife on a dividend cut.  Others may not mind that style but its just not for me.  I'd much rather pay a higher price for something when some of the risk has been removed.    I think you are ...more
