...on this one all day and as thin as the asks have seemed, this one has had difficulty gaining any traction today.

 

there have been a few strategic reviews initiated by smaller oil and gas companies this year.  I dont think, or at least I cant remember any of them that have resulted in a takeout with a decent premium.  maybe someone else has a better memory than me.

I wouldn't give any stock more than a 5% premium for the hope that it might get bought out.  Too intangible.  Instead, I'm just taking the company statement as a murky kind of guidance, that the company's prospects are ok.  It's not surprising that some investors would sell it off after the nice rally it's had.  I still think it's worth at least in the
