Good to hear this...

Glad to hear the new news about CHX, with all the recent negativities about CHX 'killing' the other two in this seemingless fruitless merger. Thank you... Let's move-on.

Glad to hear the new news about CHX, with all the recent negativities about CHX 'killing' the other two in this seemingless fruitless merger. Thank you... Let's move-on.   What new news about CHX is there?  I have scoured SEDAR and the web and can't find anything. The 5 year chart speaks for itself. I have seen the spyglass presentation and don't see what charger ...more

The Charger chart you are seeing in all likihood has some form of numbers from Seaview as that is the only company of the four prior to the March 2012 plan of arrangement that had a stock exchange listing. Having said that, Charger still fell from the $2.30-$2.40 range to it's present price if memory serves me correctly. My view is Charger has a good land package but being saddled with debt ...more

Tx CB - much appreciated.  I am 15% down from my entry into this position - since the announcement.  I thought I was buying a steady cash cow in elbow river.  Not convinced the ER sale or this merger does anything for AVF holders.  The market seems to concur with this position. I am sure this posting will get a 1 rating from the charger shareholders that seem to have made out ...more

The last two posters need to re-think their positions, along with management. The great cash flow that AVF had was due to Elbow River. Why would you sell the hen that lays the golden egg? Something is very wrong here...  Keep in mind that if we as shareholders don't vote for this, the whole deal falls apart and we won't be saddled with Charger and their losing track record around ...more

True but with a buck for each common share in special dividend income - from the 80 million proceeds on the Elbow River Sale - we could all feel a little less ripped off.  How long before the new (charger's) management squander it?

I would compare our $80 million in cash in the hands of the new management with the Leafs, whose season starts next week. Both have already been mathmatically eliminated... Kherson
