"The pumper"

I've read all postings, and would like to get revenge on AVF management for their "thieivery".  But I need those dividends!  As to the "pumper" - If that's what he is -  he's convinced me.  I'm voting yes - although my few 6,500 shares won't change the outcome much, one way or another.  My son who has an additional 2,500 shares is too.

I am not a pumper STOOLY. I am just a "small fish investor" and a "Johnny Come Lately" to this party trying to make a buck on what I felt was a good stock play. I still do despite the stress were having to endure over this vote. I will tell you this though.  I would have never considered buying any of these stocks if it were not for the merger ...more

agree. in novas press release the say: to present a proposal currently supported by Pace shareholders holding approximately 4.9 million shares or 10.5% of the Company.   this to me is misleading as it doesnt say voting shares. it just says 10.5% now. large investors like blackrock looks like they averaged down after the drop as they have the capital to do so. why wouldnt some of those ...more

What I was thinking STOOLY after reading your post about how you needed those dividends was that you should seriously consider picking up 10,000 shares of Charger on Monday. Presuming the merger goes through as expected that will give you just enough extra shares of Spyglass that you would be gettng the same amount of dividend every month in addition to setting you up for a very nice capital ...more

Stooly, I would stay well away from this advice. Everyone on this board knows this merger has had a foul odour right from the get go. From the questionable sale of Elbow River, to the undeserved packages, to postponing meetings twice at the very last minute, to not waiting for all companies annual reports to come out so that investors can make informed decisions, to changing their target numbers ...more

I agree with Kingscourt SCOOLY. After the merger when the PPS gets a little juicy you should probably make an exit and get your money back. Forget about holding this investment for a dividend.

Sound advise Kingscourt.  Everytime I check this board there seems to be more and more new bloggers pushing this merger and it has digressed to personal attacks.  Anybody interested in buying in cheap at this stage would have better odds with a lottery ticket.  As far as the comment of directors can do whatever they want I don't agree -do we live in a banana republic or is this ...more

people got scared off after novas first press release. thats a fact. now all there concerns have been addressed and their only solution now is to destroy the bod and sell the company. how are they expecting to make it to may ? they are going to have to make a decision before that. do they even know how a company works ? pce staff wont even know what to do until may. there is no business as usual ...more

fatcharlie, your vote is your vote. but just know that the no voters are in the very minority if will be a very close vote. and they wont end up in court. nothing is a lie in the spyglass presentation. the only person who might end up in court is nova beacuse they are providing false information also no CA and DO NOT run pce. they have .23% of the shares and no control of any decisions after this. ...more
