Where are the shares coming from?
1.5 million shares traded. Where are they all coming from? Are people trading on a nickel up price? I can not believe that there are many out there trading short this stock. This means that those that bought at 77 -81 or 2 are now selling at a profit. Good on them if so, hope they find the next winner for 5-10%. I am staying around for the next several months at least, the results will drive this much higher. Many large miners are looking for large deposits and this definitely could be a very large one.

There are some 200 million shares which once upon a time were purchased below 30 cents. A lot of people are taking profits. Who are they? Everyone who supported Hercules Silver in the past for pennies.

They could have sold at 1.50 several months ago. So question still is, why now? Everything looking good for copper and drilling will or has started, Does not make sense to me.

I'm thinking CAD but I will gladly accept USD. The margin of error swamps any currency difference.

Thanks. Do you think Barrick will sit around letting it go to $30 (CAD/USD). If the initial results are good, they will not wait around for BIG to drill it like swisscheese and keep moving the SP up, but would want to make a move and take out the company sooner. They might have to pay a hefty premium though - so at $7/$10 they pay 100% premium for $15/$20 buyout (illustrative)

This scenario could arise if all three statements are true: 1- The drilling is proving their hypothesis, 2- The grades are good and/or promising, and 3- Another Mining major forces their hand. Otherwise letting the drilling carry-on is wise for Barrick.

All of the big companies are risk adverse these days. They would rather pay more latter for a sure thing than take a risk now. I suspect that the big boys will let the 2024 drill programme play out without comment. I'm hoping for a bidding war between Barrick and Rio Tinto in 2025. Maybe I'm wrong. We shall see.

If Copper fertility is proved there will be more than one interested party. The longer this drags out the higher the buyout price. Don't wish for $3 when you can get $30. As a shareholder I would reject Barrick's low ball offer.
