IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding current trading,

There will be a large number of BAR shares allowed to trade on Jan 29, 2018. That is 5.7 million shares or $2.73 million at current prices.. These shares were purchased at $0.54 a share late last year. The following is also a list of employee options, the expiry dates, and the prices at which the options are exercisable at. Note that next month's Feb 6th. option is at $1.05 and will surely expire with no value. A series just expired last week with no value as well. So no problems with dilution from employee options. You can also reduce the "Fully diluted" number by 10 million shares (for current purposes only as none of the options are in the money now). So that leaves 138.5 million shares outstanding, which includes the 5.7 million shares mentioned above. Currently the short position is essentially meaningless at 297K shares. This is very important. For those who have stock ( 5.7 Million shares) that start trading on Jan 28, and thought the shares were going to drop they would have shorted the stock to protect their positions .Well, they didn't! These shares are all held, each and every one, by "accredited investors", essentially all professional investors or institutions. I am one of those. The accredited investor has shown their ability to take on these shares and take a loss without doing material damage to their net worth or lifestyle. They are usually very strong holders by habit. I would expect however some selling on the 28-29th. so keep an eye on how much activity there is.It might be an excellent entry point. If the shares begin to appreciate before that date then it would be very bullish for obvious reasons. Management doesn't want to disappoint these investors since they represent a powerful pool of capital for future funding purposes. Just thought you guys might want to know. So, for us little guys, sit tight and wait for the coming events?

Perhaps, worry, sweat, sleepless nights, angry wives, lost retirement, feeling stupid, regret, acceptance, SELL! Two days later "Takeover"! Could have made 200%! Poop!, what in the world was I thinking! Yes, relax and sit tight. Some humor and GLTA.

Actually - isn't it illegal to short a stock you own that is restricted? After all, that's selling. Or do rules apply to mining?
Comment by mountainpose on Jan 23, 2018 11:13am
Nice question. The restricted shares have a different CUSIP number and therefore are not actually the same security. So, yes you can in fact short the stock. After the restriction is lifted the shares will have the same CUSIP number. Now it's important to understand that your restricted shares cannot be used to cover your short position if you get called in to cover your short. In fact they ...more
