Grasset is now BAR's key asset

Several weeks ago, DW blew a massive hole in his own credibility when he told us the RE on Martinere/Bug LAKE would be between 1.5-3.0 mil oz of gold. Todays announcement did not even reach 1/3 of the low side of the DW statement.

Grasset is now the most promising BAR asset but, stockholders are justifiably sceptical of any statement now made by DW. The BOD needs to rebuild MGTMT credibility so what is real at Grasset is fully known by investors.

Time for BOD action to preserve Grasset value for stockholders.

GTRT, I thought the same thing right up until this morning, then i listened to the interview again. Yes, when i first listened, i heard what i wanted to hear, RE would be between 1.5 and 3 million ouncces. When i listened to it again, the interviewer asked what investors could expect from the upcoming RE, his answer was the target for the entire resource is 1.5 to 3, the upcoming estimate would ...more

My computer is acting crazy so I will post complete sentences piecemeal to get this out there. I remember those caveats as well.

The problem is we as investors can't stand fancy pants answers that say basically -now you see it , now you don't. Non-answers destroy credibility when they are mis-leading.

Take today's release (which is for a deposit that BAR was given a PDAC award for uncovering) the release says we only counted the first  350 m in depth while abitibi depths usually go to 1600-1900 m to unearth the full deposit. If it takes that depth to get a true read on a deposit, why did they only go 350 m ?  How certain are they that extending depth gives the missing 1.1 mil low ...more

This is cutesy pie language that I have never seen before on a RE release.   We can't afford to have Grasset's value undermined by equivalent cutesy pie language.  The 5 mil shares sold today, tell all of us that investors are not buying the idea if we drill deeper the missing ounces will show up on the next RE .   My major concern is credibility about Grasset ...more

goodtoreadthis, the reason they only counted to 350m is because management wanted to show how big this could be, Wagner even mentioned in one of the interviews but the push was on from Bay St and many retail investors screaming for a resource estimate so they gave one based on what they had and now we get a lot of cry babies caused they didn't inform themselves. Anyone who went to PDAC could ...more

Hawaii, I'm glad you listened again. As I said and I will try and find that post from about a month ago I said between 500k and 600k. I understand that cause I did some DD,  made a call to clarify it. There was a crazy first time poster here yesterday claiming 4 million. I responded  to  by saying what does this RE encompass? He didn't respond cause I knew he was blowing ...more

I finally picked myself up after falling off my chair this morning after seeing a shockingly low MRE. Mr Erfle pretty much sums it up in his interview today. This will be dead money until Management regains credibility. I'm way down but not selling until these projects get sold. Gotta love the drama in Junior exploration co's. Just when you thought you found the right one...BANG...you get ...more

lechon, you got knocked off your chair because you were believing what some were posting like astrobit did once again yesterday mentioning silly numbers and if it doesn't get there thisstock is dead. What about that fool kbagi who kept claiming if they don't come in over 1.5  is dead. Does that fool still post? He was posting nonsense setting up a false expectation. Kbagi showed up ...more
