Steady as she goes

Markets are totally insane right now but its always nice to see how steady Becker is in this turmoil.  Not much movement, not much volume but that is fine by me.  Becker is my main holding and if it wasn't for Becker I would be bleeding badly in this market.  We should see some financials again around mid-July and look forward to another juicy dividend in the fall.  All the best, Charlie.

Thanks for the post Charlie! Very reassuring. I would add that today's article in the Globe and Mail: "Ontario’s convenience stores push Premier Doug Ford on derailed beer pledge" seems positive for Becker as any move to allow the sale of beer at convenience stores should push up the value of such shops and could potentially encourage chains like On the Run or Circle K to (re)visit ...more
