profit taking?

Weird trading day today. Opened strong and hit 1.39 then not so great day after and at the close. Was it just profit taking?

From a purely technical point of view this  is my take. I follow the stock from the US and the day's high was USD 1.03. Typically, stocks which cross 1 go on to pop to 1.10-1.20, but not right away. It will take some time for consolidation/building a base before moving higher. In the best case scenario,  the price will build a base in the 90's before crawling higher and

I am surprised this board is so quiet after news. I think the SP has risen quite a bit the past couple weeks probably in anticipation of a 43-101. While this was reasonably good news, it was not really "news" in that the resource estimate did not change and it pretty much just confirms what the company is already doing - proceed to prepare to mine BL, drill the snot out of Cow and Island

I think the news was exactly what we need to confirm the current plans... there is now no question that the up coming production will indeed generate the $15MM in operating revenues and more. Could be market jitters. Early in a general drop, gold mines fall too, regardless of value. Cordoba fell worse today . They recover very fast if the fundamentals are there and strong hands take over.
