In a previous post called "
Some Reality therapy," I related to this forum the situation with my wife's grandneice who was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a simply awful form of brain tumour.
Four weeks to the day from first falling ill, and without ever knowing the medical trouble she was in, 16 year-old Lydia passed away earlier today.
Cancer can be beaten and many forms are being very successfully treated. Bioasis held the promise, and maybe continues to hold the promise, of providing part of the solution to cancers in the CNS.
I am gradually leaving behind me the trauma of this whole Bioasis experience, but I will always wonder at what could have been.
