"Notes: Christobal in Australia 29 November
99.9% lithium: Sample production will keep going until 10kg is produced. 10,000L was sent to Germany for sampling. Finalised by Jan.
Codelco issue: Engaged many of the best lawyers in Chile and are confident they have no issues with stage 1 (he said these words so not sure if that means stage 2 is in the same situation). CODELCO are slow and beurocratic and get nothing done. As others have mentioned "This will be the third lithium producer in Chile. There is no question about that!"
Chile: Mood stabilising and government are too. Constitution update fell through (nothing new). Same issues with inflation everyone else has. Chile government has limited major projects underway and needs Maracunga to prove it can build the economy and create jobs. Paraphrasing a bit there. Christobal doesn't know if the government will provide an update but he sounded a tad frustrated with how all over the shop they are - didn't sound like an issue though.
Mitsui: 3 Visits, discussing terms on the final agreement now. Japanese are very happy and LPI have ticked all the boxes.
Non-Mitsui offers: Canacord managing the process to assess other unsolicited offers. All seem to revolve around getting into an offtake agreement to secure product, with a debt funding arrangement. Others have visited the salar besides Mitsui. 60-90 Days to finalise it all and provide an update.
Consolidation: Court appearances happening today, and lots of "stuff" going on across 3-4 countries. On track to complete this month.
Demerger: Mid Feb for accounts to be finalised/audited, Draft notices done, new team being put together. Drilling will start virtually day 1 after the demerger is complete (no drilling before, sorry all). On track for LATE Q1 2023. Sorry, might have missed some stuff."

Thank you tiger! It seems that for next 3-4 month we should have a catalyst event monthly. After all the decision to split project on stage 1 and 2 seem to be paying off. It look like Stage 1 is more or less secure and Stage 2 is up in the air, but LPI has strong case for that too. Good luck!
